Louisiana teachers arrived at the state capitol to protest the governor's pushing the voucher system. State police oversaw the orderly, well-behaved teachers, and all but one door to the building was locked making for long lines to the bathroom inside. To enter the building, we had to remove watches, belts, all jewelry, and walk through a scanner. Teachers stayed solid for 2 long days, but lost their voices to a rushed political maneuver.
