My husband brought these two ripe pumpkins from our garden to the house today ..The best place I could find to do this manual focus set up was by the front door out of the sun where there was some shade and where I could prop the painted Pumpkin Patch display against the door with the ripe pumpkins.
Some people paint faces on the pumpkins for Halloween, but nature has painted them
a bright orange...it is wonderful that we see our world in color and photography is
indeed painting with light...By setting these pumpkins in the shade it brought out their
deep vibrant colors..
We had frost on the ground last night which made it necessary to cover the tomatoes and some of the flowers...Some things still got nipped by the frost.

diet and don't want to gain back the 14 lbs I have lost since July 9th...I am now 131 lbs
as of this morning and my goal is to get down to 120 and hopefully maintain it at that weight.. -
