stay gold....

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

-- Robert Frost

Since a few people messaged me to ask...this was taken at daybreak with my NikonD65 using a polarizing filter. No color adjustments were made post processing.

    I love the Outsiders. This is gorgeous and exactly what someone should see in their minds when reading that poem.

    Kadesha--I know..somehow when I saw this photo..that line "stay gold" from the book popped into my head immediately...and the whole Frost poem then with it.
