Amongst the things I unpacked in my recent house move was this beloved dress of my Grandmother's. My mother,sister and I lived with my grandparents for a year or two when I was 3 or 4 years of age and I remember clinging to this skirt not wanting her to go out for the night..She was a social butterfly and loved life and dancing and I remember how she loved this dress for the way it moved and shimmered.
She is no longer here but I hung it in her memory as a reminder at of all those we love and have loved....
