Mukesh, Mango juice maker & friend - East Gujarat, India
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

I met Mukesh in 2007, it was hot May in East Gujarat. He ran his Mango juice cart moving it between the traffic circle and the bus stand of the small town.
I arrived to here by chance and stayed for 2 weeks making friendships that last to this day.
Mukesh, however, didn't have email back then and our ways never crossed again... yet.
He was a positive, cheerful and motivated person. On the first time I saw him and all to the day I left I always found it relaxing to be around him. We didn't have so much of verbal common language but he sure made me feel at home. Always offered some extra or free mango juice and alweays went along with my extras I brought to blend in: Banana, cardamon, clove, cinnamon (now I know these heating spices are not for consumption in summer).
Before I left he asked me to join him to a photo studio and paid the photographer to snap us together on the background of some landscape wallpaper, so he will have our photo saved with him.
Today, my friend Ibrahim from the same town had posted a photo of orange juice glass on Facebook and it brought me right back to Mukesh.
