I was photographing in the Brick Lane area of London in 2010. I heard (American) old timey music coming from a two story shop. There was a old hippy style cafe on the main floor and a vintage clothing store in the basement. These businesses were run by a young couple. The man, who was learning banjo, ran the café and the woman, who learning the fiddle, tended the clothing shop. I used to play monutain music back in the 60s and 70s, so I stopped in and chatted with them for awhile and took some pictures. I don’t remember their names.

I love the realism of this shot! (My first thought was that she had a LOT of rosin to wipe off the fiddle before it was put away!
