Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. Matthew 6: 19
A bee enjoys a tasty meal
Moving carefully with stealth.
Loving Asters as a diet steal
Advantageous to its health!
If we were to ask a moth
What are your earthly treasures?
It might say..."I like pretty cloth
Among my many pleasures."
Both eat around the rusty pole
To reach their trusty goal
Upon the flowers they chose.
Better than leaving a hole
As a moth may do to clothes.
Poetry by me AJP
I was surprised to see this moth in the day light as they are more likely to come out at night. It was nice however to see the moth and the bee together eating peacefully each on their own side of the pole..
Thank you so very much Heather (JanElle) for your generous spotlight...Much appreciated!
