While wondering through my favourite forest, I came upon a tree that had been felled. The tree had been deemed hazardous so it was cut. This wonderful portrait is what the tree offered in its demise. This is an actual non-enhanced photo of the stump and what was left behind.

I see An amazing caricature in the core of the stump. How sad they cut this tree down, but it had a story to tell, regardless. What a fabulous capture and entry, Mary!!
