Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: Matthew 6: 20
A moth may look up
To see treasures in heaven
But doomed to corrupt
According to God's creation,
When it is not always driven
To find the right destination....
Poetry By me AJP
Again I was surprised to see this big moth who strangely came out in daylight yesterday to be a part of my photo shoot...They usually don't appear until night. I am not sure of its species but it had enormous eyes...and it wasn't joined by other moths to pollinate the Asters. It seemed content to eat with a bee as shown in my previous entry.. I loved that it came out in the light of day to observe and serve the earth on the beauty of the Asters.
Thank you so very much Davide Simone for the generous spotlight. Very much appreciated!

A gorgeous capture, Andrea! Our Asters are buzzing with bees, as well as the occasional butterfly, but I don't believe I've ever seen a moth visiting them.
