If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

I love photographing children. I love their sense of wonder in everything they do. For this shoot, I had the girls paint a canvas. They had a blast and I captured the sweetest expressions.
I have been terribly busy with work, family, and rescue work. I have a new foster pup. His name is Andy and he is about two years old. I found him on the highway with a broken leg. This is the second break in that leg and the first one was never treated so the leg had to be removed. He is coming home from the hospital today. Sampson is doing well. His leg is getting better everday and he is getting a specially made splint. He has started doing animal adoption events to help educate the public on the consequences of dumping animals and not spaying and neutering. I still have my foster pup Phoenix. His skin allergies have cleared up but I am trying to place him up north so his allergies won't be so awful. It is going to break my heart when he leaves. Li'l Bit is staying here. His age and his health have made the fast kill treatment for heartworms impossible. We are doing the slow kill method but his ugly past and his illness have made me decide to keep him here for the rest of his life. My rescue Jelly Bean has completed all her heartworm treatments and is now heartworm negative! She still tries to escape every now and then but is getting easier to catch. My Jango is awesome. He has never known hunger or what it is like to be lonely and afraid. He has never been in a breeding pen like Li'l Bit or tied up in a back yard like poor Arden was. That is my wish for all puppies.
Thank you so very much for the nomination Donald.
