The harvest is past, the summer is ended..Jeremiah 8:20

The soybean field where the farmer was combining his crops is across from our driveway...The colony of houses on the other side of the field was built by Land Developers some years back...It used to be all farmland at one time...

    I like your observation about the urban sprawl taking over the farmlands! Those upscale houses sure do detract from that reaper!

    Wonderful fall colors in this image. We are loosing all our crop land to developers too. The peach trees that covered the land when I moved here many many years ago are scarce now. The Pecan Orchards are going too.

    I agree with Don and Regenia about how the crops are dwindling due to land developers. It is sad to see that there is less country . This is an excellent shot of the columbine at work!!!
