I rarely take my camera on our power walks because the trail is very rough with snagging roots
to trip our feet, which has happened to me twice already... The first time the walking stick broke the fall, but the second time I fell on my hands and knees only to get up and continue walking...
This afternoon I walked one of the rounds at my leisure on the trail with my camera to record pictures of fall before it is gone entirely. The weather is getting cold and windy now.. On the 16th, next Tuesday we will have walked 100 days at a total of 300 miles... I have lost 15 lbs so far and my husband has lost 18. It is not easy at our age, but time is of the essence to get in shape and the motivation is to continue on this journey as long as we can.

Roots and all, I would love to have this path to take walks on, it looks so peaceful. I walk out in our neighborhood on cement sidewalks. Love the fall colors!!!
