Q: I've noticed that five of my uploads have " Hot" in front of the caption. Why are they caterogized that way ?

A: Do you know?

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119: 105

As we are walking
Along the trail
A blue jay squawking
Flies o'er the trees....
Sending out alerts
To warn other birds.

Sometimes we'll see
A lonely cotton tail
On our journey
Along the trail
Who does not care
That we are there...
Poetry by me, AJP

I rarely take my camera on our power walks because the trail is very rough with snagging roots
to trip our feet, which has happened to me twice already... The first time the walking stick broke the fall, but the second time I fell on my hands and knees only to get up and continue walking...

This afternoon I walked one of the rounds at my leisure on the trail with my camera to record pictures of fall before it is gone entirely. The weather is getting cold and windy now.. On the 16th, next Tuesday we will have walked 100 days at a total of 300 miles... I have lost 15 lbs so far and my husband has lost 18. It is not easy at our age, but time is of the essence to get in shape and the motivation is to continue on this journey as long as we can.

Roots and all, I would love to have this path to take walks on, it looks so peaceful. I walk out in our neighborhood on cement sidewalks. Love the fall colors!!!

You sure have a beautiful trail to walk, the trail in my back yard isn't very long but I try to walk it as much as I can.

Beautiful, but looks chilly. Like it could snow. Congrats on sticking with your weight loss program. Still working on mine. The weight is coming off slowly.
