    I've seen so many of these this year.Dozens around my door we call them writing spiders but I think the real name is Bannana Spider.

    I just looked it up on google and the link to see what this spider is http://www.fcps.edu/islandcreekes/ecology/black_and_yellow_argiope.htm
    The Black and Yellow Argiope is a common orb web spider. Orb web means it spins a web like a circle.

    Yep, Andrew, I was just coming here to say that - it's my favorite spider species! They're fairly common in Missouri, where I grew up.
