Q: How do you take a long exposure picture with people?

A: Do you know?

I have NO idea when these plants came to my house. When the weather is good, they do very well.

Some of the plants are over 5 feet tall. The flower is usually close to the ground. This was a dry year, but last month we had lots of rain and these plants did well. These plants have frozen in the past, but they do come back. They are very hardy plants.

Thank you so very much JanElle for the spot light. I looked for more pictures on the net of this flower. Hummmm. I think mine of one of the best.

Stunning capture of this remarkable blossom! I`ve only ever seen them sold as potted plants, which would probably never reach the size of this.. amazing.

I have something similar growing and stays green throughout the winter. It's flower turns to orange seeds.

Nice capture. I thinks it is the bigger version of Anthurium.
