A Bird's-Eye View of (H. Ross) Perot Museum of Nature and Science located in Victory Park at Field Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway. Architects: Morphosis, founded by Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Thom Mayne and his partners (based in Santa Monica). The Museum will feature a 54-foot, continuous-flow escalator contained in a 150-foot, glass-enclosed, tube-line structure that dramatically extends outside the building.
I shot this photo in September from the top floor of the Dallas Fairmont Hotel, South Tower. This amazing museum is scheduled to open December 1, 2012. Having an unobstructed view of this incredible building, as well as the Santiago Calatrava-designed Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, during my entire week in Dallas was paradise for this photographer.
