Late-morning/mid-afternoon Cricket photo-shoot this past Saturday ~ 13 October 2012 in da'Vacation Wonderland. She loves her beloved Redwood logs...and apparently she knows their days are numbered; milling began two days before this, and has been going for the third day, today, this week. They will be gone soon. Oh ~ FYI...approximately 20-foot-lengths of two 115-foot-tall (plus or minus) dearly beloved Redwood trees that were brought down over two months ago by an outfit hired by our land-people have been piled in our communal yard (the tenants of the other cabins and mine, not the land-people's) for well over two months now. I was told: "You will not be affected." What a JOKE! The larger of the two (and there are plans, apparently, to bring down three more!) was brought down because it was 'infringing' upon one of the cabin's foundations. I said: "Move the f*cking cabin!" This is why they are land-people and I am not.
PxSx ~ When I arrived Home last evening (Wednesday 17 October 2012), after a day in da'office, Cricket's logs were gone.

Cricket must love the smell, as do I. Love Black cats and had a cat named Cricket. :-)

What a great picture. The logs can stay forever - says Cricket. There is no more of a beautiful smell of fresh ceder.
