There is hopefully, a happy ending to this picture (more will follow). Today he and his littermate brother, are supposed to begin a transport to a new forever home through Great Pyrenees rescue. The story of the Snowmen is already written - I have to make sure that it has gone through. So meantime, here's a teaser. I believe his companion here is Hannah, the Rat Terrier.
There was a hitch last night. His owner is an Iraq vet who is disabled and not able to care for them properly. Wish them luck!
Things had a happy ending! The relay team did the run to South Beach, Miami and now Duke and Frost are getting used to subtropic Florida. I heard from my friend that emails along the route announced they were the best travel companions they ever worked with.
