A: Do you know?

LOCATION: Afyon, TURKEY

Afyonkarahisar, literally meaning 'Opium or Poppy Fortress' is the capital center of Afyon, well-known for their famous sucuk (Turkish spicy sausage) products. It was also the region where raw opium was produced until the 1960's when international sanctions prohibited its cultivation. Homes in the region are less than formal but mesmerizing despite its decrepit stage.
