Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

A look up the street from my front door. Sorry about all the poles and cables, that is just the way it is.

Yes Elfriede, this is a peaceful neighborhood. Being a dead-end street helps but also most of the little children live farther up the street. The county even requires dogs to be locked up.
