If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

I love photographing this little one but I am a sucker for brown eyes and boy does he have big beautiful brown eyes. We did a Fall shoot in the park yesterday but middle Georgia's Falls are not very colorful. Everything just slowly turns brown. A quick trip to Micheal's and I bought some colorful fall leaves to add the color I wanted.
I am incredibly busy right now. Work, family, and animal rescue...I can not explain the horrors that are happening to our animals in Macon right now. Our local shelter has turned into an animal death camp. They took our numbers down from 80 to 40. They changed the hours from 8:30 to 4:00 to 11:00 to 4:00 which means less people have time to get up there. They changed our kill days from Wednesday only to five days a week. Everyday, I see animals starving and injured on the streets. My latest rescue was a poodle/terrier mix. I found him barely walking down the road. His rear leg broken, he had been mauled by dogs. I took him straight to my vet and they had to remove his left leg. Two weeks later, Andy was smiling and taking over my house. He was adopted this week by a wonderful young couple. We have begged the county commisioners to end this madness but our pleas fall on deaf ears and the killings increase. Our only option is to vote them out of office this November. Meanwhile, we hunt fosters and adopters. We raise money for vetting, food, toys, blankets. We send many of them up North. They spay and neuter so many of them take ours in. We rejoice when we save a few and we cry when the death list comes out.
If you live up north, please contact your local rescue and see if they can help take some in. These are the pups that will die this week if we can't get them out.
