Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

I was quite limited with this shot since there was a fence surrounding the area (you can notice on the left side of the photo) so I basically had to stick my Canon through a small hole in order to get this shot. I've been studying Bruce Barnbaum's use of lines and how he uses diagonal lines to create tension. Compare standing next to a vertical tree or standing next to a diagonal standing tree...where do you feel the most tension? Probably not the best photograph in the world but my first attempt at practicing this technique.

In the Bernheim's Dream photo essay.
