I'm not sure why I continue to post on JPG, my number of views, comments and favorites have dwindled down to a few, if any lately. Not sure what the problem is, I believe my work is nice, but there is a serious lack of interest. Recently, I have deleted several photos that only received less then a dozen views. Perhaps I should give up?

well i'm not sure either but this is a beautiful shot! Are you spotlighting your pictures? that sometimes helps. The number of contacts you have also helps. Good luck.

Don't give up Lanis. I have seen the same trend for a while. Perhaps the quality of my shots have declined but in this little world I've created for myself, I prefer to think that people are just surfing the site less:) keep 'em coming. Cheers.

The water is an added plus in this photo. A wonderful view!. The number of views, comments, and favs, has no rhyme or reason on my site as well Lanis. I think that jpg just hits highs and lows like anything else. You have a GREAT site! I always enjoy dropping in to see your work. Your nature photos are some of the best here on jpg. Please keep posting!

Please don't give up on JPG, Lanis. I think we have slowed down, but it is still a wonderful place for friends to find your work. You should frame this beauty. It would also make a great wall mural.

Lannie, JPG does lack the excitement of three years ago, and so many of our contacts from those days are gone. New contacts are the answer, I suppose, but "JPG fatigue" is real. I hope you will stay.

Stunning image. Very worthy of a postcard. Please don't give up. Your photos are incredible. I think the secret is to post often and spotlight. I find also that posting certain times of the day can help as well. Sometimes people just aren't at their computers. Whatever the reason, please don't go. I sincerely enjoy your work. I, too, am sometimes surprised by lack of response. Keep up the beautiful work!

I join all those encouraging you to continue posting. Your work is incredible. Most of us experience highs and lows on comments and favs. I sure do.

Please don't give up, your work is great and well appreciated. This shot of the old mill has such great color and detail! Sometimes there just aren't enough people who take the time to stop and smell the roses.
