Reds, yellows, purples, and indigos flood the horizon as bright blue waves find their way to the shore of Makaha Surfing Beach in Oahu. Watching as the sun sets and the largest of waves begin to die down is a young surfer dreaming of traveling through tunnels of sea as they take form around him, the rays of light at the end and the movement of water above and beneath him his only map and guide.
