The boardwalk in Avon-by-the-Sea, New Jersey, in the spring of 2008. After Sandy, this view now looks dramatically different, as does so much of the eastern coastine.
Here’s to family and friends on the coast of New Jersey, where I grew up, and to every life impacted by this storm of storms.
