Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

The old Dan Lawson home place.

Cades Cove, located near Townsend, Tennessee, is an isolated valley located in the East Tennessee section of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, USA. It was once home to numerous settlers. Today Cades Cove is the most popular destination for visitors to the park, attracting over two million visitors a year, due to its well preserved homesteads, scenic mountain views, and abundant display of wildlife.

Before the days of digital - scanned from a photo I took using my old Canon Rebel SLR.
