Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Look closely to see the tiny figure at the top, slightly right of the middle. A lone figure paused in the natural gap formed by erosion at Bryce Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, where hoodoos dominate the landscape.

Hoodoos are definitely a step back in time and never more beautiful than in Utah.
