Armistice Day...11th hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month.......at Lake Karapiro, Cambridge.
After a dogfight with a P51 Mustang this Messerschmitt was left to succumb to its fate.
Something different for me to photograph planes! But a magic day out at the lake with the family. Not too hot.

How I would have liked to see this re-enactment! The P51 Mustang was an awesome flying machine. What a wonderful photo to mark Armistice Day.
