There are 87 stairs to go up to the tower. Ed & I walked up all of them to the tower and back down.
On our 50th wedding anniversary trip.

Andrea, That is not Ed on the stairs, just another visitor to the castle. He's standing right beside me while I take the photo : ). I did not see the man on the steps either before or after taking the photo or I would have waited until he got out of sight. Oh well, he doesn't show up very well and it does nothing to distract from the photo.
I do like how you really look at people's photos, seeing the details. -
