A few of the large flock of turkeys who visit our yard for sunflower seeds now. These are all Toms, and are quite big. They stand three feed tall when they hold their heads up straight. I would estimate they weigh over 30 lbs. now. There were two hen turkeys accompanying the gentlemen. Good thing I've already purchased our Thanksgiving turkey. ;-)

Wow! A flock of turkeys, just in time for Thanksgiving. Are you having them over for dinner?

Wonderful, Patty how you got that close on these wild turkeys on a 23.8 mm lens..Amazing shot! ..They must be getting tame and know who is feeding them..I saw a great nature movie awhile back on PBS TV about a man who lived with wild turkeys as an experiment to learn about their nature... He found they were highly intelligent birds...

These guys have NO idea how dangerous it is for them to be strutting the roads so close to Thanskgiving. Good luck guys and be careful~~
