An adult pine grosbeak brightens up the landscape while enjoying sunflower seeds at the ground feeder. Their breast feathers take on a unique quilted pattern in colder temperatures.. this is the only bird I`ve ever seen this appear on. They also brighten the world with their beautiful song.. a delicate and complex melody.
They have been around recently but I`ve missed every opportunity to get a shot so I decided to go back to last January`s file to upload..
