Our next patient at Critical Care for Animals Angels sadly did not live long enough for me to get a picture of her. She was found shot, heartworm positive, covered in a skin disease and very sick. It was a heartbreaking call but we had to let her go. We had lost our first Animal Angel. I had not even had time to wipe off the tears when I got a call about Whiskers. Whiskers was a stray cat that had been hit by a car. We had to wire her jaw but she is now all better and living with a new forever family.
In the Critical Care for Animal Angels photo essay.
