A: Do you know?

We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof...Psalm 137: 2

No time to pause
If doing a whirligig
Hanging just by claws
On a willow twig.

A bird in his habitat
Spinning around
Needs to be an acrobat
Getting up from down.
Poetry by me, AJP

The little Downy Woodpecker didn't stay in that position for long...I caught this pose as he flew on the twig trying to get on the window feeder and he almost lost his balance...These birds are super fast... I caught this pose in a split second through the old rolled window with my telephoto lens on manual focus.

Thank you all for your kind words...Although I upgraded with a new camera in August I still like my old Nikon D 40X for its lighter weight for the close range on bird pictures which I used here. Both cameras serve their purpose and it is beneficial to have the two of them so that I don't have to keep changing lenses.
