Being the brave photographer that I am, I wanted to get right into the action of Hurricane Sandy by having the waves break over my head as they crash against the storm barrier. My sister Cyndie and I, fighting against the driving wind, started walking bravely toward where the waves were pounding against the storm wall. The first wave hit. Wow! Our pace slowed. The second wave hit. Yikes! Our pace slowed even further. The third wave then hit the wall with a tremendous force. OMG! We stopped! Who needs to be any closer to get the shot? :)
