Since we both played Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Ballet for so many years in the orchestra pit, the opening strains of the music always put us in a Christmas spirit.

I love this, Don!! I love going to see The Nutcracker at Christmastime. How wonderful that you and Susan spent so many years performing this fantastic music for the ballet. It is just beginning to play here now in Camden, Maine. What a gorgeous shot of the wooden soldier! Bravo!!!!!!

love this! i took my granddaughter and a friend of hers to see Nutcracker when they were about 9. later at dinner i asked them what they thought of it. they said, "it was ok. it probably would have been better if it had words".

Haha at Leslie's remarks!! Isn't tradition wonderful? Love how Christmas preparations are complete when all the decorations and Santa themed effects are in place. Mr Soldier is very effective Don.
