Q: How do you take a long exposure picture with people?

A: Do you know?

I received a call late one evening about a starving dog that had been shot thru the neck. Could I please help her? I drove out to Gray, Georgia and picked her up and rushed her to my vet. We had another Critical Care for Animal Angels patient. Not only was this girl starved and shot thru the neck, but she had been used for fighting bait and was heartworm positive. She is going to be fine. She is so loving and kind. We got all her shots done and now she is with a wonderful foster gaining weight and getting ready to start heart worm treatment and get spayed. I took this picture of Frances today. Two weeks after I received that awful call and she is doing much better.
If you would like to help animals in need, contact your local pound and ask them to refer you to a rescue group. They need donations, fosters, people to walk the dogs, clean cat boxes, feed the animals...there are so many ways you can help.

In the Critical Care for Animal Angels photo essay.

If this photo essay doesn't get Story of the Week there is something wrong with JPG's decision making process...Just my opinion for what it's worth...

I dont have to go to a shelter. All I have to do is wait in my yard - and they come. If more people cared, the world would be a much better place. Thanks for what you do

Of my 11 cats and 4 dogs..... I bought one kitten at the pound 10.00 and one dog 5.00 at a pet store. The cost to save the walk ups- ? Thank goodness I forget. Regenia can guess I bet/

Wonderful shot of Frances!! I remember how terrible ill she was when you first brought her in for help. She is such a sweet dog, and one who certainly deserves the very best home to be had after all she's had to endure. I hope someone finds her soon and loves her forever and ever!!! I also agree with John Linton....the most definitely should be Story of the Week!!!
