This old tin car was found in a pile of leaves in a garden of a house I was photographing for historic designation. I loved the look of the rusted car in the leaves. So,,, I apologize as this really is not a glitter shot for Christmas,,,, though at one time this was a wonderful toy for some child who no doubt is long gone and was very shiny and wrapped beautifully under a tree.

Perhaps not shining outwardly, but you inside are shining perfectly!!! I like this entry for this theme, very poignant and it gives us food for thought!

Such a treasure to some child long ago, left outside and forgotten, time weathered it and you found it, photographed it and to preserve it for all time. I love the tones and lighting. This is a very unique entry to the theme.
