A different take on 'all that sparkles and glitters'. Woven into our histories is Charles Dickens, 'A Christmas Carol'. What is more sparkly or glittery than the specters that came to Ebenezer to show him the error of his ways. The image reminds me of the beautiful Ann Rutherford who played the part of the Ghost of Christmas Past in the 1938 film version of Dickens' classic.
