CRITIQUE REQUEST: Singles vs Series?

I don't often put photos together in one frame as series shots but I'm on the fence on these two sets.

Each photo has character but it seems the two sets of six complimentary images tell a better story. At one point in time jpgmag didn't allow multiple shots in one frame to be submitted but I no longer see that rule. What do you think? Be honest!

I am posting one of the two series shots in community critique. Please weigh in what you think about series shots vs single individual shots or anything else you want to say about these.

Is there one of the six that stands on its own?
