If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

With only a few hours for my photography, I headed out the Old Vantage Highway (Old Highway 10) from Ellensburg, Washington until the old roadbed enters the river near Vantage (the road continued to a town and bridge below before a dam was built and raised the water level). From that point, I walked (and scrambled) the trail along river to the North of where I parked my vehicle. Normally, the water level is much higher and this location is under water.
For this image, I used a 10-stop ND filter to smooth out the ripples in the water and to give a silky appearance.
