Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? Job 38: 22
We know winter has begun
When we don't see the sun.
The world has turned white
Fogging glasses and our sight....
Snow on the grand scale
Fell on our walking trail...
It continued without end,
Too much to comprehend;
As we slipped to slide
Around from side to side.
Yes, winter in the country
Comes upon us marvelously!!!

That was quite a project today walking with snow almost up to our knees in the wooded trail but we got our 3 mile walk in today regardless. If this doesn't give us a strong will to stay determined and to keep our balance...nothing else will! Did I grumble? You bet... especially after a mound of icy snow dropped down in my eye from a branch on a tree. The good news is both my husband and I stayed on our feet without falling. So far we have walked 468 miles since July 9th.
Update: Dec.10th: Between yesterday and today we had about 12 inches of snow.
