I have grown these and cross-pollinated them for many, many years. Their buds have popped up in every color in the garden for years. Sadly, in the Hurricane Katrina flood waters many bulbs turned to mush. It usually takes 7 years to go from seed to flower. Consequently, I will have to live to be 150 to regain those that were lost. But, what the heck, time will pass anyway!

What a beautiful flower!! I grew some from seed to flower in a year, but they were ordinary, no cross-pollination. I'm so sorry you lost so many bulbs.
