Ashlyn, my beloved seven-year-old granddaughter, is the same age as four of the victims of the Newtown Shooting. My heart and prayers go out to all the families of the victims and the survivors. But it will take more than prayers to prevent such an atrocity from happening again and again.
JPGer and friend Mary Ann Reilly, a highly respected educator and artist, not only beautifully expresses in this powerful post what many of us are feeling, but how we can take action to help prevent this kind of madness from happening again.
