Jesus said, Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not: for of such
is the kingdom of God...St. Luke 18: 16

I shot this image on December 24, 2006 of these two young girls singing Christmas carols during church service in the little hometown where I grew up and where I went to church in my growing up years. The sun poured through the windows to spotlight them as the shutter clicked..I remember my late mother accompanied them on the organ. Both of these girls are now teenagers in high school... I am happy that I captured this candid of them 6 years ago on such a meaningful and peaceful occasion.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones in the Connecticut school shootings which has affected all of us during this Christmas season...It is heartbreaking. How I pray for peace on earth and less violence in the world.

Thank you all very much for your kind words. I chose this image for the challenge because
it represents peace read through the eyes of children in the age old songs of Christmas Carols.
