With New Year's Eve approaching fast, safety warnings concerning hand-held fireworks seem to be omnipresent. To exaggerate the safety precautions (only a little bit) I let this bare-handed girl enjoy her lighted sparkler while protecting her face with a genuine welding mask. For this image I spray painted the welding mask pink to make it a bit more girlish.

    Not sure I could get anyone on board in my family. They make bombs out of garbage bags filled with acetylene. That said, love the snap.
