We experienced blizzard like conditions of drifting and blowing snow today..It was rugged struggling through deep mounds of snow in our driveway to reach the trail in the woods..Our legs really felt like they had a work out on our walk, but I can't complain when I see the song birds of nature accepting winter, no matter how inconvenient for them as a matter of course....
The snow is silent
With winds so strong...
When we were sent...
A sweet winter's song,
By two little Chickadees
Gathered in trees...
