This red-bellied woodpecker is now a frequent caller to our suet block. This shot was taken through the mud-spattered double pane window in our office.

What a happy looking little fellow he is. I love the colors in this photo, and I'm always so happy to see people feeding the birds! We have a little downy woodpecker who is hammering away each day on a block of suet. Tomorrow I'm making some suet balls for the birds for Christmas. Great composition on this lovely shot, Don!!!!
