Not so sure it's an improvement or not. Just killing time.

The more I study this the more I want to continue to study it. Whether this is a set up or random, it still has a random feel---yet, more comfortably than random. The balance is quietly incredible, and achieved with so many fine --yet subtle--qualities. Dof has much to do with it; however, the lighting is close to perfect. Such a large variety of textures and shadow play could go unnoticed unless one takes the time to contemplate. The way the variety of mixed-pieces are 'arranged' in such a way that makes for such a pleasing composition one could almost forget what the subject matter is. (Like it could be an ad for Sears products...or the like) Each space in and around the pieces become an individual mysterious journey. The darkness frames so well, and I like how the copper/brass screw pulls the eye in first---and there's so much to keep my eyes to remain afterwards. I can only hope others will view this and validate what I see. You may be killin time, but surely not wasting it.

I love this picture.
It's so sharp and clear you can actually count the threads on the bolts and see the pitch of the threads.
Excellent !!! -
