This little, gentle and loving boy was playing around the stool in his Mom's Resturant Christmas Eve morning. I went to get some breakfast and then before you know it my buddy who I love so much was there. I used a Nikon D300S with a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens. I also used a Gary Fong Lightsphere setting my EV to + 1.3. I balanced the daylight pouring through the window with fill strobe using my Nikon SB 800.As far as color is concerned I wanted to keep this image on the cool side because of the boy's beautiful and striking blue eyes. In addition, I wanted somewhat of a cinematic look to the photo. I set the ISO to 200 and shot wide open at 1.8, hope you like the shot as much as I do. Michael Asaro photo C2012 All Rights Reserved
