Somewhere along the Mendocino County coastline on day 4 of my birthday driveabout. Portions of this part of the California coast rival Big Sur without all the tourists.
A CalTrans engineer asked me to leave the pullout where I was shooting because they were getting ready to do some roadwork and told me about a place for great pics “just past the cemetery”. He was right. Much better than where I was shooting.
