Q: It seems that there is a very narrow selection of images in VS. Why

A: Do you know?

Jim recently posted an adorable photo of a pair of brothers that inspired me to reshoot and repost this picture.

Little Zelda (blonde) is Autumn's offspring.
For at least the first year of her life these two sweet little dogs couldn't be seperated.

Even now Autumn still has that mothers' instinct.
I can still see it in the way she watches over Zelda when they're outside playing in the yard.

Be sure to check out Jim's awesome pictures.
He is truly one of the good guys !
Jim is involved with animal welfare, charity and the humane treatment and well being of unwanted and abused dogs and other sad victims of sub humans.

Something we all wish was unnecessary.
This is the worst time of the year for strays and abandoned animals.
If you see a stray please do something besides ignore it.

I know careing for a problem you didn't create is not very convenient but keep in mind the poor animal sure didn't create his/her situation.
I can't think of anything more miserable or cruel than being left to freeze or starve to death.

Unfortunatley the only living creatures who allow that are human beings if that's what you want to call them.
I have no idea how many adult dogs, cats, puppies and kittens have been dumped off at the far end of our property over the years.

And I don't know how many freezing, starving animals I've coaxed into my truck with a MacDonalds hamburger.
These poor creatures were frightened of humans but their hungar was stronger than their fear.

The only thing I'm absolutely sure of is I've never for a second regretted taking in a defenseless animal who needed food and a warm bed and I can guarantee if you do the same you'll never regrett it either.

And if you're thinking about getting a dog, cat, puppy or a kitten check your local animal shelter first.
Most of them are overflowing and in desperate need for people to adopt one of their great pets.
